Default Outrage- it's on fire dude...!

Ok the lipo went up, yep it happens to all of 'em from time to time, but what your looking for is backup, and must say I'm very disappointed in the way this has been handled. I fly with 2 packs(2x5s) the other not in this pic is perfect still showing a balanced charge of 4.05 volts the cchv esc was damaged by the heat but not the cause~ now there's a first LOL...

The pack is FIVE weeks old with 13 cycles on it, charged with it's pair on a FMA10s- I returned the pack on the 20 sept- and all I get is- were waiting for a reply from outrage, were get back to you etc, etc. TBH I feel like I just being fobbed off, and heck I just asking for a replacement pack- is that too much to ask....I'll stump up the cost of the damage but it'll be nice to know OUTRAGE stand bu there packs- even if purchased in the UK.

I must say I'd avoid OUTRAGE packs in the Uk, theres no factory backup if things go pear shaped- prehaps the performance comes at a cost.......

Sorry for the negative post but I feel a tad let down.

The def' cause will never be known, but theres not a lipo manufacture out there that hasn't had a pack fail for some reason or other and catch fire. My point is that, whilst a lipo will fail from time to time - heck the performance of 10 s packs today is just outstanding -a pack 13 cycles old that fails should be under warranty.

I'm only posting this because I've waited over 10 days just to see if the pack will be replaced....

Markjj...please contact me at greg@outragerc.com. I do need to have some more information...to be honest...I have never seen a lipo catch fire inflight without some short in power leads or somthing...please dont take that as I am saying that this did not happen...I just need more info...I am sure we can figure something out...

I will assist you in some way even if we find out the cause was not a bad Outrage Lipo...to help get you back inthe air flying Outrage XP Batteries!
