should not be a problem. Take a look at 3000mah 6s OUTRAGE XP pack. It still has a lot of room.

i ordered mine direct from fusuno

http://www.fusuno.com/

they did a custom trex 500 lid for me for $39.95 + $15.00 shipping same as my avatar

the custome service was excelent and they where very quick to respond and cater for my requests. they have sent me a picture of finished canopy prior to shipment and i expect delivery within 15 days

they are based in Vietnam

it took about a week for them to complete the paint job and if you contact

Email : sales@fusuno.com

they are very quick to respond. i also added some other bits later which they combined into one order

the canopy's do not come with grommets. but like me if you ask they will chuck them in for free.

i think overall it is cheaper buying direct. you can order exactly the design and detail you want and the customer service is excellent. cant say more than that really.

ill confirm that i am still as positive once the canopy arrives so i can see finish and delivery condition.

ok so it arrived and im very happy with quality of canopy

it was packed really well with polystyrene filled in the center to stop it being damaged i was very impressed with the way it had been packed. the only thing i had to do is drill the 6mm grub hole bigger and it fits like a glove. they even through in a canopy cover so i am very happy all round with fusuno service

here is the custom canopy i had made for my trex 500

I also ordered direcly from fusuno. Recommended!

My only problem is the canopy runs a bit against the main-gear.
Is there a solution for this?

Thx!

yes for me anyway i added a 1mm tab to the bottom of the canopy if it fits tight then it will or should bow out the sides so that it does not touch the gear

ie add a thin wedge to the inside of the bottom so that it fits tight in the holding groove

Default Which T-Rex 500 Heli Does The Fusuno 500 EX Canopy Fit?

Re: Which T-Rex 500 Heli Does The Fusuno 500 Ex Canopy Fit?

I appreciate that this is an old thread and that Fusuno is now trading as Canomod. Which variant of the T-Rex 500 is the EX canopy designed to fit?

http://www.canomod.com/shopping/inde...d715501b804de4

Just out of interest does any one know where Canomod is based. The "About Us" page on the Canomod website is blank. Could be Vietnam but I guess the prices are in $USD. Has any one had recent dealings with Canomod?
Any information gratefully received, particularly about the EX canopy.
Regards
Tony
