Raptor 60 V2 Swash direction question
As per the manual for Raptor 60 V2 I see if the swash travels up its negative pitch and downwards is positive is it because of the fly bar placement on top of the main rotor ??? little confused I have Trex 600 which is the opposite way around new to raptor hence this question. And does this mean that all the other control work the same ?? like Ailerons and Elevators ??
Tail in hover for Trex if the swash tilts right Heli moves right ... same for left direction and Swash moves forward down ....heli goes forward and swash down backward heli moves backwards ....... is this not the same in Raptor 60 V2 ??? any response in regards to my above questions will be much appreciated. |

The "swash up = neg pitch" is related to the placement of the main rotor blade grip's ball-link location.
On the Trex flybared helis, the link from the bell-hiller mixing arms connects to the main rotor blade's ball-link on the leading edge (front in relation to the direction of rotation). You can always get the Align grips installed correctly - just make sure the Align logo is on top. The TT Raptors have the ball-links on the trailing edge. But, the cyclic works the same - swash tilts left, the head tilts left and so on. |
