Nope! This " flashing yellow light" make me crazy too. Couple of hours today... No luck!
Even setup from my previous video, now NOT work!
Tarot? WTF with this ZYX-S2? How to bind with satellite? How to setup? How to (re)set?
Shame!

Anyone knows who to contact @tarot for this issue ? Maybe they are not aware of this and it's a bug or something ?!

Sats have to be bound to your tx first via rx.

There are some teething problems i think!!

I can add my servos and sat and motor esc etc all ok red solid light. Servos all work as should in the right direction but no power to motor! Tried different esc and same but this time the motor fires away with no inputs from tx in bursts! The tx did speed the motor up though!

I tried the exact same set up with both esc on an AR7200BX worked as should. Motor spun up with tx inputs. Stopped on zero input. So must be the S2.

I have a replacement on the way so hope that's better and works as should do!

If not then yes Tarot have serious problems on their hands and updates will be needed for the software/ firmware!

Hope you get some luck! I'm still trying to be lucky

Default XYZ S2 flashing yellow light

I have this same problem. I bound the Spektrum satellite to the Spektrum receiver and then tried to get the S2 to work. Everything I have tried results in a flashing light. Chinese documentation sucks. I'm just bit the bullet and bought a AR7200BX and have had no problem. Yes, 4 times t he cost but at least you don't waste a lot of time with a product like the ZYX S2 that doesn't work.

44 flights with ZYX-S2 (DSM-2 sat) for now. So far so good. Couple days ago also got the ZYX-BTM module, work fine with Android app (usability IMHO better then previous), so now able to adjust settings on field.

I've just finished setting mine up. All working as should do electronics wise. Just need to tidy the cables, secure the esc and sat and start test flying. I intend to use my laptop to make adjustments via USB cable provided.

Anyone know how the failsafe button is supposed to work? I think it's the second tab on the software...

To be honest, I have two T450 Pro v2, one with AR7200BX, second with ZYX-S(ZYX-S2 now). The ZYX controlled, by my opinion, flies better!

Move sticks on TX to positions which you want to have according to your opinion in case of signal lost and press Set failsafe button. ZYX should move servos and throttle signal for this remembered state if lose TX signal. You can check that, just switch your TX off after ZYX-S2 properly configured. DO NOT FORGET DISCONNECT MOTOR WIRES BEFORE this test! At least remove pinion or blades!

That's cool! So what's a safe setting? Any suggestions? Just above mid stock on collective may be?

There's no right answer here, but I set all my fail safes to zero throttle, collective at or slightly below 0°, cyclic and tail centered. Having collective a bit below 0 allows the possibility that a signal failure with the helicopter right side up and within a few degrees of horizontal might end up looking like an autorotation, therefore minimizing crash damage. But, of course if you're inverted when it happens it would be less pretty, that's why sticking close to 0° makes sense; then go a few degrees negative if most of your flying is upright, go closer to 0° if you fly a good mix of upright and inverted.

Personnally, I go for a little bit of positive collective and zero throttle. My reason for this is, the more head speed you can wash off before the heli hits the grounds the better. Probably not the safest approach, however, as the heli could travel a little further.

The first part looks like the collective/cyclic tail pre-compensation is doing something weird.

FYI, the thread on RCG has a Tarot customer service person (cannat) replying to issues with the S2.
