I have my 350QX and GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition on the way. I read with some concern about the possible interference to the 350 GPS lock caused by the new GoPro 3+. But I was wondering whether mounting the Hero on the eBay gimbal reduces the EMI. Can anyone comment on this?

Logic would suggest that adding other electronics would only add EMI. But if your gimbal provides further separation between the components, then the EMI will lessen.

The gimbal does increase the distance between the camera and the body of the 350QX. But I don't know what the additive effect of the gimbal motors will be on EMI. I guess I will have to see for myself. I appreciate the response.

Should be minimal/negligent as the distance is further away.
