Default What did you do with your warp 360 this month...

Watched it sitting on the shelf waiting on parts......

Seriously though its been a while and I think it's about time for an update? Easter holidays are fast approaching and planning to get the warp sorted. This heli is becoming a household antique, gathering dust.

Have you spoken with your distributor or dealer?

Here in NA, we only have the CF bridges, but motor cans ARE in production and should be here soon.

Thicker boom, new motor can( mine wobbles) . Still not too happy with the tail hub but I'm looking to change this out, and maybe go the blade 450 route. Been reading thro most of the vibe and tail fixes on here and theres some great info, but I'm not touching the warp again until the spares are released. Spending too much time trying to improvise and fault find. Bought the sk540 thinking it would have vibe logging only to find out its a skookum only tool!, not having much luck with this bird...Would be great to hear some news!

On a positive note, my 7hv is perfect!!

My parts showed up yesterday, ( not the can and brace yet ) and I had time this afternoon to re-maiden. I loosened the belt after reading various posts about being too tight, ( mine was too tight ) and lo and behold, noticed a touch more pep in her step. Hoping to knock the snot out of it this weekend

I'll give Steve at Westons another call for an update. It's went quiet which prob isn't good news on the parts front. We seem to be behind you guys when it comes to factory spares...

The new parts cannot be too far out. I believe my kit had all the updated parts, including the new motor can. The motor can is the 1320kV version and does not scream on spool up or down. It had the thick boom and CF brace for sure. The pulley was attached to the tail output shaft as well (not sure when they started assembling that). All the machining was good on my kit as well. Every part was well within in acceptable standards, no bent shafts or hubs. My warp is actually virtually vibe free, and that was spooling it up with two broken tail grips on it after an unplanned meeting with mother earth.

Tail blades seemed to be no good though.

I hope so too. I will have to remove the roller guide assembly, and really want that heavier boom. All set with Scorpion 2520-1360. Not sure how much flight time I will see.

Did you ask the seller or they just shipped the parts to you automatically ? I am waiting for all upgrade parts except the motor can.

You need to contact the dealer you purchased from, if you don't get anywhere, please post in the NA Support thread stickied at the top of these forums and we'll get you help.

Only the CF guide wheel pulley bridge is available ... I believe the thicker booms have been available for a while now in regular inventory.

The new motor cans are in production and should be available shortly.

Jeff,

Thank you for the information. What about the new version of canopy mount, is this part available yet ? If it is, then I can email HeliDirect.com for updated canopy mount and CF guide wheel pully bridge.

Sorry, I forgot about that part ... last I checked it was not available yet as it was to ship with the motor cans. That said, I know they were expecting product any day now, it may arrive with that shipment.

If I speak with Mike at ProStar today, I'll let you know.

No upgrade parts yet, waiting patiently for those. Parts that arrived are things I ordered after I perched the bird in a tree.

What did I do with my Warp this month?

I flew it.

I am flying it without the CF brace between the idler pulleys-I don't foresee a problem if the belt is not run too tight (which could, I think, pull the pulleys out of alignment).

I will install the part when if becomes available, but am not grounding the machine waiting for it.
