Default Wow, this thing is LIGHT

I'm finding the AUW is about 1/2 lb lighter than similar Fusion50 and logo 600 setups.

WOW! 250g can make a huge difference.

Can't wait to maiden it.

Here's the Heli. The maiden hover went fine. No vibration issues.

On the snap,

How does it compare to others 600 in flight ?
Might not be able to answer now but let us know what you think if it and how much it weights with your setup.

I will report back. I own or have owned Goblin 630, logo 600, E5 stretch, 600 ESP, Fusion50.

Looks very promising. I'm actually fond of the frame design now. Light and low parts count. Aesthetics of the canopy are not great, but its not high on my priority list.

I bolted a 4225-550 in this so it should be ballistic. Given the super light weight,

Should be ballistic yes.
I'm really curious of the weight; 4kg or less and I'm ordering mine.
It's also very nice for me to hear your impressions after your background on all your precedent machines. Thanks for the updates Onthesnap

You can already use Bluetooth with the brain. Just not with Android yet.

How do you make your computer converse with the Bluetooth?

After you buy the eBay module, you pair it with the pc. It looks like another com port to the GUI.

I'll be checking it out then. Hate having to move the gyro mount to plug into the Brain.

Well got half a flight in before the pinion slipped. Guess I didn't make the flat spot deep enough or the loctite didn't hold. Bummer.

Didn't get a chance to fully tune it, but it seemed very promising before the emergency landing. :-)

That sucks. Better luck next time.

I'm running a Quantam 4125-560 on mine, I think, with a 13t pinion. 2050 was my IU2 setting.

Yah a bit. Didn't seem to impact the Heli though.

How to fix the play guys

http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t701437p1/

Here is what you need to buy for the washers mentioned in Nick's post
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...mm-Spindle-Set

If you guys could tell me where to get parts, went on Amainhobbies and Tower website. Amain doesn't have a lot of parts and Tower website is awful to find a good reference IMO.

If you could also be cool enough to weight your machine without batts it will help me make a decision ;-)

I put the extra shim in mine, but it made everything to tight. Took them out.

It may work, just have to stop tightening when the bolt washer makes contact and let the loctite do its job. Going to try that this weekend.
