So this is a 550 heli that uses mini servos? Wow. I guess that would save some weight, but are servos like 9650s going to have geartrains strong enough to handle direct-to-swash FBL 550 blades??

I do love the way it looks though, and the few videos I've seen show explosive performance (understandable at the low weights listed). Me like!

looks to me that the mixing arms would absorb some of the load not your normal flybarless direct blade grips to swash

Ahh, good point! That does give the smaller servos some extra leverage. Clever.

So far am pretty impressed with the tags been a vbar fan for many years. Still needs alittle work on the tail but the cyclic is really locked in. Stock motor has great power and i can run 6s 5000 and it is still littler than say a Gaui X5 which is close in size. Runnning 2800 and getting 5 min on 4000 mah packs.

Very good to hear! I haven't heard much about the TAGS system, but it sounds promising.
The X5 is another I've been considering, so that comparison is good too.
What size blades come with the combo?

Cool, so that's making it look like a direct competitor for the X5.
