For those folks complaining about lack of videos about various topics, I would say "what have you done to rectify that issue?"

Smile Many thanks to Jasmine for her excellent build videos

Hi there, am new to the hobby, am a young student, was given a walkera 4g3 from my brother 4 xmas, pesky little nipper, designed to be a pest I reken, enough to get me hooked tho, so after a few flights and many repairs including upgrades, decided to stop messing about and wasting money so I bought the rex 250 super combo with the dx7. Would have went bigger but my budget would not allow. Thanks to jasmine's excellent advice on tx set up and build, i am now compitantly hoovering around in my spacious lounge (with furniture moved out) I love this little heli! Tail holds fine with stock set up for basic flight.

Thank you so much Jasmine!

Also thanks to Finless for all his excellent videos as well. I have learned so much from you both in the last month! Was SO satisfying to see my heli flying stable after a patient and accurate build. Spending nights practicing on the SIM for now, not taking any chances with this wonderful machine!

Regards to those demanding build videos from Finless, give the man a break, all the info you need seems to be available. Its up to you to fix the tail. Stop being lazy!

Hey that is awesome

It is really great to see someone have success with this stuff. It is the whole reason why I bother to make videos and participate in this forum in the first place.

I got my tail the best I can with the stock stuff, but it's not great. It holds in sideways and backwards flight, but it bobs a little bit when you hit the pitch. It's not blowing out to the side like it did before. All I changed was the tail hub, but I can't say I'm happy with it the way it is, I don't like the little bobs. I'll try putting the DS290G on it and see if that helps.

Hi Jasmine have you had a look at the Ino-lab D201HB, i will be using this servo on my tail, I have not yet tried it out,, waiting on the gyro for my 250 but i have seen a video on helifreak of a guy doing some nice 3D with this servo on his tail, looked solid.

Well, last night I was flying in normal mode and I have a fairly aggressive throttle curve with that, so I don't blame the little bird for bobbing around a bit with that. So today I flew in idle-up, and it's much better. Did some backwards and sideways flight at much higher speeds than yesterday, and I couldn't really see any bobs in the tail. So tomorrow I'm going to take it out and push it a little harder and see if I can get the tail to blow out, but looks like all you need to make the 420 work right is just to set up things right and get the new tail hub. Piro rate is still kinda slow though - even to the left, it's slow.

Jasmine has done a build video.

I would be interested in a detailed 'tail setup video' using the stock super combo contents.

This would complement Jasmines video.

Cheers.

That would be really cool. I'm not going to be able to do it though. I'm having problems with the computer I use to make videos with, so I have to send it in for warranty service, and it might take a month to fix

Manuals included in the kits have served many very well to.
