Nice save!

I finally got to setting up my tail with DS95i. All I can say ->
It took 1 minute of a first pack including spoolups to get the tail to behave. The rest of the battery went into setting up advanced stuff (precomps, stop gains...). I can't beleive it was that easy. Mini now flies like a simulator.

Put 4 flights through mine today. It was windy (19 knots) and the heli was very pitchy with the SAB blades on the Mini Vbar. I have some rails to try which should fly a lot better.

Wasn't that fun to fly. Felt pretty wishy washy and not locked in. I don't know what is going on but it is down on power. I have a brand new 3s motor with TP65C (brand new) packs and it feels underpowered. A bit more tuning on a good day and I am sure it will get better.

Being stuck down in Raleigh working I'm reduced to trying to make sense of this.

When I get back hopefully thursday my kit will be there waiting for me.

I took my mini to the hunting shop and brought a bow case so I can take it on my trip to Sweden in a couple of weeks.

I plan on putting my Tx, chargers, spares, tools and the heli into check-in luggage so need something better than a tennis bag.

I have taken it before packed in my main case but I think taking it separately will be a better option as I can have a good setup that will keep me flying for the 4 weeks I am on holiday for.

Ah, so that's how you do it. I found my stretch wouldn't fit an old blade 450 box.

Which shop, mate? And what brand? I need some sort carry case for this baby of mine too!

I picked one up from the Melbourne Archery shop in Oakleigh, just near my home. The one I ended up with was the Plano Protector Bow Case 1111. It is quite big as I want to be able to take spares, chargers, tools and Tx in the one case.

The next size down Plano Bow Case Black 1110 will fit a stretch Mini Protos and Tx ok as well.

I am off to Clark Rubber tomorrow to get some more foam cut to fit it as it only has a single sheet as it comes.

Did some assembly.

There isn't as much real estate as there is on a 500.

well finished my build and got three packs in and wow is this sucker quiet or what felt like I was running 1500rpm but was really running 2800rpm on my stretch. the only thing worrying me is the motor temp is high like 160 compared to my 6s 450 pro which only gets a little over ambient temp. but I will try to loosen my belt a little.

I had 8 flights on mine today, flew mainly big air 3D and speed flying.

Put on some Rail 326mm blades and they are awesome.
