Default dx8 telemetry

Is there any way to use the dx8s telemetry unit while using only satellites with the gt5?I don't really want to run the whole receiver setup just for the telemetry.if not, hopefully we can get that in a update

The TM1000 telemetry module only requires a power source in order to operate so as long as you can provide that then you can have telemetry. There is a spare channel on the GT5 (which you can use for a governor for example) that you could use as a power source for the TM1000. If you are already using a governor then you would need to connect the TM1000 with a Y cable (I've not tried it myself but I would think it's probably best to remove the signal wire from the TM1000 connector in this situation just to avoid any unexpected complications).

What you will not have is the signal strength/antenna holds/fades telemetry information. The only way you can have this is if you use a full size receiver. All the other telemetry info (rx voltage, temperatures, rpms etc) will work fine with this method.
