Default Advice on Gens Ace 6s Lipo Dead cell

Hi
Today after the flight of 4:30 mins on my G700 KSE, I found that one of my 6s Gens Ace battery was discharged to 3.5 to 3.7, but one of the cell that is cell no 5 was not responding and lipo was showing only five cells on the checker. On checking the cell which I think is no 2 from the top was swollen (shown in the pic attached) and is only at .54v. As the battery was not recognized as 6s on my PL8 charger, so I could not charge it having a 6s balance plug. So I connected the pack to a imax smaller charger and tried to revive the cell by giving charge of .3Amp on NiMh setting. After the charge reached 20volts, I again checked if the cell had revived but nil. Please suggest if there is anything can be done or the cell is dead ?
Thanks

I wouldn't mess about with it tbh. It's not worth a crash imho
I would break the good cells out of it VERY CAREFULLY and make up a couple of 2s/3s packs. Assuming of course you have a use for them.

Yes exactly that's what I thought. I have a friend who has a brand new battery of the same size and config. He also lost the other pack. So will it be good if I add up the new pack with its other buddy with same age as this was to resume the 12s configuration ?

That probably depends on how many cycles there are on the older packs.
If theres not too many it shouldnt cause any problems but if they have a couple hundred I wouldnt, but thats just me. Others may feel differently.
I also dont own any 6s packs so definately not an expert here.

One thing you can do is drop it down to a 5S pack and use it to run the your charger to charge 1S lipos when away from a power source.

I've got a 6S pack like that as well with a dead cell.
It was a 130 buck lipo. But I got darn near 2 years out of it.
