Default Raptor 90 3d electric Battery ?

Hi

I have raptor 90 3d with a neu1915h 1.5y motor in it,
What battery would fit best so i can have the centre of gravity under the mainshaft
without putting spacers in the skids to make a thick battery fit.

i think i need anything from a 10s or 12s pack 4000-5000 mah capacity.

I don't know if i should go 10s however it might fit and also thought about those
flighttech/flightpower long 6s packs, maybe two of them ?

I'd go 12s via 2 6s 4000mah 30c packs stacked where the fuel tank goes. AFjetmech did a conversion a while back, can't find the link but he's great guy and will most likely answer any question you have.

Appreciate the kind words Sean. Here is a link to the RC Groups thread with a lot of conversion info. To the OP, I would go with 4000 to 4500 packs to save weight. I have two 5000mah packs on mine, but it is in a scale bird. It will fly for 10+ minutes so I could have gone with smaller packs myself.

Should work. Cut all the extra weight you can off that bird. Actually, I'd go the extra mile and make it flybarless.

I have the RJX flybarless head for my scale 90 coming in the mail any day now. Will be using it with an SK360. I'll post some pic's when ever I get around working on it. (too many projects, too little time)

I also have a raptor 90 I'm converting to electric, for my scale bird. Let us know what you do, so we can keep up with your progress.

Very nice, and it sounds great. Did you use the clutch assembly on that system??
