I subscribed to this thread! You know what that means... A mini Protos is in my future, I'm thinking flybarless with BeastX I have to do more research on good servos for this. I put my Trex 450 in a scale fuselage (I love it but it's a PITA to bring anywhere) and I have a bunch of 2200 batteries and really miss how quick and portable my 450 was. Then Youtube strikes, damn this heli looks and sounds great! I have to start saving but I already ordered the BeastX though, I hope the mini protos is good choice? I read allot of posts from happy owners.

You can't go wrong with it. I'm sorry for your old 450, mine is sitting in a HeliTote since mini maiden.

For servos look for DS95, HS5065 or Savox.
