I was just contacted and asked to post. There is not much I can say right now. An Outrage Electric 700 will hopefully someday be available, BUT...it will look nothing like the example that was at IRCHA. The old original design based on the Velocity 90 and posted above has been discarded and a new version is being designed from the ground up. There has been good progress made on the design, but there is no prototype parts pictures that I am authorized to show to you all right now.

As much as I would like to tell you that we will be releasing an electric 700 size in the next few months I just can not. But, I do think when it is released that is will be a very good design and great heli.

I wish you could all wait and see...but certainly understand wanting to get something that is available now or may be soon. Can always sell down the road when a new electric 700 size Outrage is released.

This is all the news I have right now on this subject, I am sorry for the delay and you can express you concerns, gripes, anger to me and I will listen to them...but it still won't make this helicopter appear out of thin air right now

No gripes or concerns, Thank you for the response here Greg. You are right, alot of us want a 700 electric now, and will buy the new hotness. Also we will be looking for the new release of any Outrage 700E, and most likely be adding it to our fleets also. I am by no means a one mfg fanboy, I have Outrage 550's, Fusion 50, Align 450 Pro, 600EFL, 700E, 700N and soon, the Rush 750, so what is another Outrage heli in the fleet, but 100% sweetness...

Thanks again Greg.

I'm guessing will see some kind of two-staged drivetrain design. As of right now, I think that is the best way to rise to the top of the list and get people excited about selling their current 700.

Is there any news on the outrage Velo 700? Or do I need to start shopping the next alternative. They just released their new tail design which looks great. They have a nice thick machined main gear option, so just cut some frames to accommodate some batteries like in the prototype pics. It doesn't have to be that complicated! KISS thinking! I am a Velo fan and don't want to change brands. But, I am not a loyalist either.
If they are thinking a 2 stage drive with a belt, than model it off the futura SE or quatro from Robbe. Great reliable design. Also, get me a helical cut main gear and tail gears to make the machine super smooth and quiet.
