Yeah, those vendors are good. The 3rd bearing support and plastic frame parts have the same type of insert but I dont see any issues with those.

Default Update.

Readyheli is not stocking MSH anymore so they refunded me. Helidirect sent me a replacement set of servo frames and they are just like the first two sets, maybe even worse. So my build is still on hold

The CNC servo frames are simply no where to be found. Out of stock everywhere...

Still no stock on the cnc frames that I don't even really want to buy. This kit has been a waste of money at this point. I can't believe more people are not speaking up about the crap parts in the kit...

Default I feel bad..

I have 4 of the CNC frames just sitting here. 2 for my new kit and 2 spares :-) Well, I don't feel that bad. I imagine from the time they run out to the time they get more can be made longer by the Christmas break.

Well doing my Mini Protos and I have come across the same issue.... yay......... so excited to build this over the weekend now I can't do anything!!! So annoying!!! Now I have to wait until the middle of next week until an M2 thread tap gets here as no one in my area stocks this size..... There goes half of my next week that I have off work just waiting for this thing..... ARGH!

Default M2 Tap..

I ran a tap through mine. The temptation is to tap it out all the way through. You risk damaging the tap, running the hole off center if you do that. You need a bottoming tap to do it right.

Probably will be. Collect a new 2mm tap anyways. It comes in handy.

I feel your pain. Mine is still sitting on the bench, over a month now. Worst part is, I tore apart my go to 450 to build this kit. I'm thinking of just cutting my loses.

Thumbs down

I should mention, I tried using a m2 bottoming tap to clean out the threads. But some of the inserts are set crooked in the plastic so the screws all go in at random angles. Shame MS-Heli! Shame on you...

I got a spare set of servo frames when I brought mine. One of the frames in the kit had a hole out of alignment so I used one of the spares. Sounds like you've been unlucky

I just took a screw and used it like a tap winding it in a bit then back out a bit until the threads were better. I'd expect this from a cheap clone kit but not from MSH. That said when you do get it built you will love it

Default Weird

What is strange is that the same tech is used in the 3rd bearing support as well as the Y bracket, plastic frames parts etc and they don;t have issues. Why just the bearing / servo blocks? Its not just plastic in there, the inserts are crappy. And it has that cheap ass alluminum with sand in it feel when you are tapping it.

I am officially disgusted in this kit. So now I have had to get replacement servo frames, the bushing was too big to fit through the tail guide pulley so had to get another pulley (another common problem apparently). Finally received my new pulley which was good. Moved on to build the next part and one of the tail plastic rods is missing from the pack.... So another damn part, feels like each step of the build something is wrong or missing. So awful for a 'quality helicopter'

I have built 4 mini protos and I have not had one of the problems you guys are having, either things are slipping badly at MSH or you are unlucky...
