Apparently I was too hopeful it would be within a gram of the outrunners available

It needs to be a few grams heavier to keep up with a 3 gram outrunner

Might put some life back into the nano forum which has been pretty dead since the mCPX BL came out

I'll start flying my nano again when I can get my hands on one of these.

Who's gonna be the first to strip the shrink wrap off the esc and eliminate excess wire and connectors with a fine solder? That should give the best results possible with these parts.

The esc seems to run an HP03 just fine no load too.

Esc wires are 30 gauge.
Does the ESC have a governor? Someone here wrote about constant head speed with various throttle.

Just got mine in the mail today. I have lots of time on my astroid mild bl upgrade and quite a bit less on a wild setup. I also have a new stock nano. Looking forward to a comparison between astroid mild, stock, and blade upgrade.

Installed my HH BL kit yesterday. Flies great. Quieter, a bit more power. A definite plus.

Got it installed in a stock nano. Motor runs much smoother than the oversky in a pjacq mild build. It seems to have more pop than the mild but I need to do more comps. Using 45Cs in both birds with good power.

The motor p/n is blh3327, $28, inrunner but feels solid and good quality (like mcpxbl). May be worth swapping it with the hp03sp on next mild frame rebuild if it works with the xp3a. I'm not sure which motor is more efficient. Using stock frame with xp3a to tweek would be a plus.

Default Blade Factory brushless motor upgrade (install video)

I'm thinking about getting this, flying it for a while, and maybe sometime getting an Xtreme Spin 13,500Kv with the Xtreme carbon mount and see how I like it. The Xtreme mount allows mounting without mods so if I don't like it I can just change back to the Blade inrunner.

Just walked in the door with a new HH upgrade lit from the LHS and have it installed...

Anyone know if there are recommended Throttle curves?

Suggestions?

Great motor the spin for the nano but the mounting sux. I'd wait as they are about to release a new frame for the nano that allows the motor to be installed inside as normal
