I have it on my BL nano running a V2 tail blade. I have heard others having good luck with KBDD tail blades also.

Wow! I've always considered the V2 blade as the stock blade.
I'm looking forward to using this motor on both Nano and MSR X.
I sure appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Have you tried the KBDD tail blade yourself? I would very much like to know how it works because I like them more for visibility and durability.

I'm sure it'll work fine. The V2 is a hair better, but gets warped more easily. An abused KBDD works better than an abused V2

Default My BL Tail

Figured since I had an 8000kv HP02T laying around I thought I would see what it would do.

Based on suggestions on here I have a slightly cut down and balanced RRC Prop.

The motor mounts I created on my CNC machine out of delrin.

The HP02T, I turned the shaft around. I think it looks better this way. There is no snap ring groove this way so I put a small o-ring behind the prop to hold the whole thing together. it a bad crash if the prop comes off you might loose the rotor, might put a bit of ca on the shaft to hold it.

I mounted the XP3A esc which has BLHeli10tail flashed on the back of the 3-in-1 at the bottom.

I am not in anyway in the league of some of the flyers on here. More of a novice. but it had tons of thrust and holds very well. not tail wag at all. Just solid.

Thanks to NCcraig, litehawkdown, Dylan, DoubleCH for the insite to make this work. and of course sskaug for the BLHeli Project and 4712 for BLHeli-Setup

The HP02T has a 1mm shaft. The stock motor has a .8mm shaft.

The 12000KV HP02T has 6 magnets and a different wind than the 8000KV, which has 12 magnets, and works with the stock tail blade on the Nano, and the Ladybird prop on the MCPx.

Ill have them in stock this weekend, along with just about everything else from Oversky

Thinking about doing a kit for the Nano that includes a solid tail boom, what do you guys think?

Well sign me up for a motor! Kits will sell. My only question/comment on the solid boom is since they are so easy to make I'm not sure how much added value they will provide.

I would do it Dylan, I think for a lot of people it will make the kit even more atractive. Not everybody wants to buy 1mtr of 2mm cf rod just to use 115mm. Those who are flying with 2mm cf rod right now, know that it's pretty much indestructible. I've had so many crashes on my wild set up and never had to replace my solid cf rod.
For us clients it might be interesting to be able to in- or excluide the rod in your kits, as an option I mean
