I sure hope so. My magnetic canopy mounts let loose on my last flight and that beautiful canopy got chewed up like I threw it in a wood chipper. Looking for just a red/white canopy or I have a boom for sale.

I was ragging on these when i first heard but after seeing them at hod i have to eat my words. The fit and finish was great and looked very sturdy, and pretty cool

I was totally set on getting the yellow fuselage because it looks great and highly visible.

But since I can't actually buy it (it's out of stock everywhere, no one knows when it will be back) I have been waiting for months. I already got the black/red 800 Pro skids which did a lot in terms of visibility and now the desire for the fuselage has worn off for me.

I guess I'll be keeping the heli as it is any save the fuselage money for crash money. Having to replace both the boom and the canopy if one breaks is reall off-putting as well.
It's actually hard to get current Align products over here. The 700L Dominator is still pre-order only in Germany and the 700L Dominator "TOP" is already announced. So you're waiting for something already obsolete to become available.

I was mulling around letting go of the 700 pro in favor of a backup G700 comp during the sales. As such, was prudent to sell off the "bling". The only difference in performance I noticed was marginally reduced tail authority. At lower head speeds, it might have needed 110 or 115 tails to feel right.

I have a 700 pro with a nitro boom that's I believe 10 mm longer than the stock boom. I'm using it so I can safely spin radix 710's. Will the fusalage fit on my bird ?

I would think not without some tweaking to move the rear mount points back 10mm.

Don't believe it will fit without some home brew mods, as it relied on the front transmission bolts to connect to frame. This part has been narrowed considerably on the 700X, so it will not just drop on unfortunately.

Unfortunately, the canopy of Speed Fuselage is partialy unsuitable for TRex700L Dominator TOP with 850MX motor, and with 800E PRO Landing Skid, too.

Yeah mine was rubbing the top of the 850mx. I took a blowdryer to heat it up and tried to 'sculpt' it up a bit and now there's more clearance. The overall fit has not been good either way. Huge PITA.

I've cut out a sufficient opening in the canopy for the 850MX top.
But I lean towards changing this canopy for the standard Dominator canopy with speed tail fuselage only.

I've been thinking about cutting out an area for the motor on mine as well, doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought.

As of now I have been able to just sculpt the canopy up a little to give a few mm of clearance for the motor. I have no idea if it will stay that way, or if it's enough to keep it from slapping against the motor from vibes in flight.

The other PITA thing is putting the canopy on. I want to cut off the magnets in the back, and modify some rc booya mounts to work with it (since they don't at the stock size). That should be a bit better.

For easier putting the Speed canopy on, I'm using QuickUK Magnetic Canopy Mounts (short slanted ones). Unfortunately, they are out of stock nowadays, maybe discontinued. Still, the Speed canopy is not easy to put on, and that's the reason I'm planning to change the Speed canopy for standard Dominator's one.
