Very cool! Would be especially fun flying without canopy! If I had as second 700N, I would definitely be taking you up on the kind offer...

For those interested about this material, I use G10 regularly in knife making. It is a composite similar to CF in that it is a woven-cloth, bonded material that is very strong. It is completely resistant to chemicals, won't absorb anything, and it extremely rigid as well.

A little heavier than CF, but can be stronger than CF in some applications. If anyone is interested I can break test some scrap pieces I have to show it's strength.

G10 should be used more often. 90% of the functionality of CF (strength to weight) at a fraction of the cost.

Got mine today. These are some nice looking frames....
Question though, what do you do the the elevator bearings?
The align ones look like some kind of rivet thing the holds a smaller bearing. Is there a part number of what can buy to replace it?

You guys are getting frames. But I'm wondering why the op isn't responding to this thread and the questions

Don't know.. I figured mine out. I took 2 holders out of and old frame and epoxied them into the new frames. The holes were big enough for them to fit thru.

Well I am bummed.... I got my heli together last night and the frames won't work. They seem to be a bit off and both my main gear and tail drive gear's mesh is so tight that you can hardly spin them. And when you do they grind something terrible.
Looks like I'll be ordering new frames from Fusuno after Christmas.

Got my frames this morning; these look great!

@crashagain have you considered adjusting "widening" the holes to free up the gears?

That won't work since all the parts are held with those alignment tabs as well as screws. On mine, both gears are insanely tight. Even the starter shaft barely turns.
Really sucks, cause it looks so cool all put together.

Can you overlay the stock frame over the G10 and figure out where things are off?
