Default Mini is drifting to the right... big time..

All of a sudden my heli is drifting to the right pretty bad. The swash is level as it can get, but I think there is some bad vibes comeing from the heli thats disturbing the sensor in the beastX. Funny thing is is that I recently set up the esc which is jazz 40 on idle up and right after this set up, the heli started to drift right. Prior to this, I didnt set up the esc and was flying it normal and it felt fine. There were some vibes coming fron the heli by a naked eye but didnt really affect it til now.

I mounted BeastX in the belly of the heli.. could this location be the prob?

What do you mean when you say idle up? Faster? In gov mode?. Kontronik is supposed to be the best esc out there, nice and smooth. I'd take a look at the motor adaptor if vibration is overwhelming the BeastX (see recent thread about this)

I mounted the beast in the belly, below the shaft.

Odds are, that's your issue. Whether it seems to affect anything or not, you really should track down where the vibrations are coming from and fix it!

Overall, the Microbeast seems less sensitive to vibration than other FBL units, but it can still be affected.

esc is mounted under the batt. mount. I have to see where the vibes is coming from but from last time I checked it wasnt from teh motor or its mount.

Just did couple of packs and for some strange reason, NO Drift... Last time, it was drifting to the pt of crashing and now its locked on. It was more windy today then it was last sun. I did nothing different.. Just wanted to get it checked again before stripping all down. I'll try more this weekend and see..

I tested again but no drift.. maybe mini had a bad day..

anyways, is there a to reduce the sensitivity of the heli w/ beastX? This was the first time really letting loose the mini in an open field and noticed that its really nimble. too sensitive. Thanks..

I believe you can turn down the swash setting, stock it's at sport I believe, you you can somehow use expo to soften the center, not sure how as I'm anti-expo

If you set the unit to 'transmitter' mode you can use end points /atv or dual rates and expo to adjust it to your preferred "feel".
