7Hv vBar users, need some guide.
First time vBar user here..
7HV V2 with the new style head.. I ended upp with these numbers during my vBar setup on the 7HV V2: Collective Setup: 100. This give me + 12.2 and - 11.7. Unfortunately I cant adjust any more mechanical, to get a even pitch curve. Is it ok to use ATV do fine tune it to +-12.2? Cyclic ring: 81 to prevent binding. Cyclic throw: 81 to get 8 degrees. This is on the lower side of the recommended setting. Ok to run like this, or is there anything I can do? Thanks

I use the atv to limit the pitch not extend it. So if you are trying to run 12.2 both directions I would raise the collective in the vbar so that the lower end hits 12.2 and then reduce the higher end down to the 12.2 with the atv.
I am using the dfc head and had to set my cyclic ring @75 I think it was to prevent binding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All looks good.
As mentioned use ATV to lower your higher pitch value not raise the lower one. My CR is at 77, very important you get this setting so you have no binding. At one time I had mine to high and was getting tail blow outs on some maneuvers. Turns out when pulling back Ele and dropping Collective the swash would bind up on the main shaft. actually made a creaking sound and chattered. Lowered CR from default to 77 and all is good.

Mines around the same settings as others.
I had to also use ATVs to get the collectives the same no biggie.

Thanks, you guys rock!
I redid the setup, being really picky with the swash level tool. And after your tips to adjust the ATV on the higher pitch value . I ended up with 105 Collective Setup. ATV 96/106 on pitch +-12.2. I lowerd Cyclic ring 2 step, so I wasn't on the edge on binding. So 79 now.. Cyclic throw I could now pump up to 84 to get 8 degrees pitch. Tail setup: 89 / 90.. Maiden with vBar tomorrow Cheers and thanks!
