2 spectrum sat with a 3gx work great. update your 3gx to firmware v5.0. dx8g2 seem a good tx. as I read you never assemble rc heli. so you need some tool. pitch gauge, blade balancer, swash plate lever, screw driver, balllink plier, dont be too rush to get it in air, it powerfull and deadly. double check every setting. if possiblefind a friend or alocal hobby shop who can check it before flight.
I dont use the locktite provide in the kit too much strengh and bolt head strip easy. use blue locktite instead.

Congrats! I had a 600e for a very long time, it was my beater and went thru so many repairs and one rekit. However I did swap the 3gx out for a beastx.

I had my share of Trex 600's from ESP to PRO. All work great. Best bang for the buck in my opinion. I still have a few in scale helicopters.
FBL unit is a thing of preference.... And needs...
I use SK720 and Vbar. Both great units far superior to 3gx. Nowdays there are others that work wonders...
