This worked on mine...

Loosen the boom supports on the boom clamp they attach too. Loosen it a little bit at a time and you will get to where it stops shaking.. Also the head dampeners have to break in.. Takes about 10-20 flights depending how hard you fly.

Hi guys. Think I have pointed this out before but if you loosen your boom clamp then your boom supports will be totally ineffective at their job, supporting the boom flex. You might as well take off you supports! If you flying skill is beginner to inter then you might get away with it as your flyin will not be stressing the tail too much but if your pushing it a bit then your risking boom strike, boom fail! Just sayin is all.

You don't loosen both just at the clamp, and it isn't loose to the point that the bolts just sit their spinning, more so that they aren't over tight.

One other thing power stroke... Do you remember how you assembled the thrust bearings in the head? Making sure the larger Id race was on the inside of the grip and the smaller on the outside?

can you describe the shakes, could be simple as gyro gain... is it a wag, a cyclic bobble or what..

Its kind of like the whole heli is shaking. Just a tiny bit. It doesn't feel like a gain is too high. It shaking side to side.

Anyways I took the head apart and reassembled it and now it doesn't shake.

I've only put 2 flights on it since but its not doing it now.

I also had the shake. The first flight was OK, it started at the end of the second one. I saw that:

-The center bearing of the main shaft was getting out of place. I fixed it with an extra collar (some people is fixing it with glue, but a collar is I think a better solution) It would be nice if Compass include an extra one in the kits.
-The slant pinion was shifting down and it was starting to get loose (may be due to the shake, it looks a chicken and egg problem). I have fixed the pinion to the lowest position that looks where it is being pushed and separated it from the counter bearing with two washers (from a Logo SK upgrade kit)

Following the advice of the german forum I removed the screws of the three main shaft bearings supports and fixed them again in the way that the three bearings are aligned.

This morning I made three more flights and it looks OK. Good luck! The heli has the smoothest tail I have tried, really lovely. I still have to play a bit with the belt tension, there is sometimes some kind of shaking from the tail in backwards flight if you push it. The Diabolo also took a while to set up.
