NCPX brushless tail conversion

I have been told that I have a bad FET on my board that runs the tail motor. My question is If I buy the brush less conversion will I still need the FET replaced or with the new speed control That comes with the kit bypass that? Thanks

Nope. You won't need the tail FET if you go with a BL tail and take the positive signal from the back of the board.
