Default Flybar less Head

Anybody any experience with this unit? Looking at getting this for my 450 Airwolf project.

We've already done a flybar less conversion with Gaui electronics and it is rock-solid. However, I didn't like the way Dad made it, it look's ugly! LOL!
I'm thinking this will be a better look.
What's the quality of this head?

Oop's, please move to appropriate section. Thank's!

I'm running that on my G5 with an SK360 and am very happy with it. It's over a year old now and still going strong

Hey capi, I've still been flying but my net time has been taken with some other projects. They're up and running now so I'm back on HF more

Cant get rid of me that easily, I see you thought you had it there

Thank you, that's comforting to know. I noticed it's in kit form, was it easy to build? Look's like a lot of parts. It look's like it's a perfect addition for my Airwolf project!

I built the flybarred version and then converted it to the flybarless version by swapping out the parts. It's straightforward to build, back when I got mine it came supplied with green dampeners which were rubbish, I think they now come with the stock black ones which are the ones I have been using. They are the ones for the Outrage G5.

I have the flybarless head on my 450 with a Skookum first and now with a SJGD FS600. I love this head. With the simplicity of a direct swashplate to pitch arm flybarless system it has proven to be durable and relatively maintenance free. I got it from HeliFlightCenter. They also seem to have spares more readily available. The only issue I have had over the last 6 months have been crash related and even then it has been incredibly bullet proof. I set of linkage arms that disappeared in a tree limb crash, one blade grip that bent in a high speed pavement hit, and a couple of ball links.

One thing I love is the tracking stays the same over time. None of the issues of constant maintenance of all the bearings and screws for arms as in the Align flybar head. Not knocking Align but a small head with small bearings and smaller screws durability is an innate problem.
