I would really love to give the Logo700 a try...but it's kinda hard to support local shops when Mikado, in their infinite wisdom, decided take dealerships away from everyone except readyheli. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE ReadyHeli...and if it weren't for Dirt Burner's, I would buy everything from them. But, I just like supporting my LHS...it just creates a better community. If I could afford 2 more 90's, then I would definitely get the logo. But I think I see a Rave ENV in my future

However, Matt, you should get the Logo700, so I can take it around the block

While I like the looks of the Rave ENV I think it will be quite porky.

The Rave ENV is designed as a nitro, then electric, extremely difficult to optimise structure for both power source. Henseleit did quite good with the MP line.

RCH reports this:

The approximate delivery times of these new items are as follows.

• LOGO 600 SE April 2010
• LOGO 400 Carbon May 2010
• LOGO 500/600 Carbon Chassis May 2010
• VBar Plug and Play April 2010
• Governor and Logfile Software mid 2010

There is much talk about the new LOGO 700. This model is still under development. They plan to bring it into the market in the second half of 2010.

There was no note about the 700... I thought I could get the new belt for my little 700 before my next "inspection".

I have a T700LE-E. With 12S 5000, Jive 80HV, 8.4V to servos with AR7100, 4035-500 motor, 16/164 gearing.

The weight is 5.35kg with 2800mah TX lipo and 5.2kg without it.

Both my nitro fbl and my electric fb has hs 1950.

The electric has power, but not any impressive power. If you want to feel the power, i would go for a logo. I want the big size instead.

That is a heavy heli! All my 90 electric 4.5KG and 4.1KG! 4.5KG is just right.

Someone will fly a real logo 700 at the 3DM.

How do you get your Jive 80HV's BEC to output 8.4V? I have a Jive 80LV and I was just looking at my ProgCardII and the maximum BEC voltage setting is 6.0V.

I'm planning to get a 700 size electric this year. Can I run everything off a Jive 120HV or should I use a seperate 2s LiPo for the rx?

No the jive send out 5.6V so you need to remove the RED cable from the master on the jive. Then i use a 2s lipo into my AR7100 receiver.

I can save about 145gram by removing the RX lipo.

Are you confident the JIVE's BEC can power the rx + servos safely in a 700 size machine?

I like the decreased weight of a integrated BEC in a 600 (of course with small buffer), but it makes sense to use a separate power source for 700+ machine. A stretched Logo 600 with 4kg+ sound quit heavy for me. A 600SE configuration with Jive, small buffer and light components would be 3,8kg (heavy batteries) or less.

Not with master connection. I heard that you must use the slave also when using 8717 servos.
