More Flight Graphs, this time with a 650L motor.
1220 Kv motor instead of the 1650Kv XL. Some Flight Data Graphs. Outrage 6S1P5000 and Zippy-H - 6S1P5000 Align 75G ESC. 650L motor with 14 tooth pinion. TST - VBlades. 611 Gyro combo. Belt Drive. Outrage 2S1P 2500 reciever pack with Align Reg to RX. AR7000 reciever. Seems to pull more Amps and wattage than the 600xl. Weather = Ambient temp was 38 degrees, warm day down here. ESC was coming down at 52 degrees C Motor was 57 degrees C Batterys were 52 degrees C In my opinion could do with a 100Amp speed controller as it was bursting the 75G at over 100 Amps. Other than that, a great motor. Here are some Graphs.

Stock 600L and ESC.
11t pinion 188t helical Align 600 blades TT with Align CF 95mm tail. Idle up 100;95,100 with +-12 pitch TP V2 5000mah 6s My headspeed is around 2k Hovering and landing...therefore spikes.. |

Got my new Micro power V3 this week and gave it a test on my new ESP and a friend CF.

what firmware are you running. i'm very surprised to see amp draws in the 90-100s (especially on an 85amp esc) off of an 8s setup at 2200rpm. i rarely got 70.

not saying anything is wrong...just a curious observation. my pic shows a 5-second 13° full collective climbout. i wouldnt think you could be much harder on it. but i didnt even hit 75 amps.

that graph was from an trex 600 on FP3700mah 8s running a scorpion 4025-740kv motor on 17t governed to 2200rpm via the CC85HV.

Trex 600E
10S Zippy-H 5S1P4000 Flybarless 4025-740 on 16 tooth pinion with 700N main gear. SAB 600mm Blades. Same setup with older Polyquest 5S1P 3700 packs, dont know the cycles. as you can see the Zippy with 2 cycles on them put out alot more power, not far off a good 12S setup. Some more data from today.
Very Windy conditions. Fixed end point mode on the ESC CC85HV 4025-740 16tooth pinion, 164 T700N main gear SAB 600mm blades Flybarless Basic foward flight most of the time, in idle up 1 which is 85% throttle and then in Idle 2 100% throttle. Some airleron rolls during circuiting. Bigger spikes are Negative pushouts with Piros and some Tic Tocs thrown in for good measure. Climbouts in both modes on initial phase of flight. First chart is Polyquest 5S1P3700 in 10S - older packs, still good Second chart is Zippy-H- 5S1P4000 in 10S - 3 cycles Pulls about 22 amps in hover at 85% throttle Pulls about 27 Amps in hover at 100% throttle Basic Circuits are about same amperage if flown sedate. MAH Used is very good per flight if flown sedate but a few big power moves were included in this chart for measure.

Same Config as above just new Rhino 5S1P3700 packs in 10S.
First cycle and putting out a whopping 4.9 HP thats alot more than an OS50 at 1.9 HP

OK some more Data Logs.
Remember this is a Flybarless machine. Same Configuration. This time running 15 tooth Pinion instead of 16 tooth. Tached the head speed at 2400 RPM so i could imagine what 16 tooth was before hand, LOL !! As you can see it is an improvement over the 16 tooth pinion. Both flights consisted of a fair bit of backwards circuits, inverted backwards circuits and tic tocs and aileron tic tocs and well as a few Piro flips and also large forward loops and a few stall turns. Now with a 14 tooth Pinion and more respectable head speed, no tach but i will do it soon to find out the exact Head Speed. As you can see its pulling way less amps overall and also using ALOT less MAH and also flys very good, still plenty of pop and more flight time, much easier to fly with the lower head speed and less brown trouser time. It shows that with a lower Pinion tooth count the peak wattage is lower than with a higher tooth pinion showing that temps and flight time and battery life should improve vastly and for little to no loss in performance. Seems to me that 14 tooth is alot better and has a more respectable head speed thats not excessive and performance is still there, so the 14 tooth will be the keeper atm as the graphs show its alot less stressfull on the machine and it flys great. As you can see from the initial Data graphs after the initial 10S conversion i have gone from 3700 Watts " 5HP, shit thats alot " to 2700 watts " 3.6 HP " with basicaly no loss in performance and increased flight times and less temps due to wasted output in heat. Also gained an extra Minute in flight times.
