Default Fatshark or Monitor

I'm looking into the fpv family and need a little help on equipment.

I'm looking at the Fatshark and monitor styles. Do the Fatshark give just as good of video quality as a monitor setup? or is it just personal preference?

The higher end pairs offer similar resolutions but the fact of the matter is a bigger screen will generally have better quality. It is a personal preference on which you prefer to fly though. I started with a monitor but started getting frustrated that I didnt feel as immersed in the flight so I switched to goggles.

yup agreed...

If a feeling of immersion is what you are after, goggles win by a country mile - even if picture quality is not quite on a par.

If you simply want to be able to see what your craft is seeing, and also maintain external awareness of your surroundings, then a screen is probably best.
