How much will it cost? Will it work with the V-bar governor?

Euro 479.00 and no will not work with VBar 5.1 governor as the ESC already has built in governor software and settings that will work against the VBar governor.

Hmm... it seems it will have an auto-bailout function, and some new modes?? maybe one of those modes will be designed to work with the V-Bar gov. I don't like the fact that it can ONLY be programmed with the ProgDisc... that thing is expensive!

Does this mean that our current jive's can be sent for a firmware upgrade? And perhaps the koby line will have an online firmware update.

Directed at my post? If so, I have read it in the Mikado VBar forum, but can't find the post now. Mr Mel or The Bum was the ones posting on it. Will search and post when I find it.

Maybe things have changed, but I asked this question directly to Kontronik and the reply I got was no. This was late last year.

I got email reply from Kontronik germany , NO the jives CANNOT be upgraded to heli jive. They plan on releasing a progcard 3 (or use progdisk) to program heli jive. I received a PDF from kontronik In germany with this info when I asked.

Jip, got an answer from Kontronik as well, no upgrade from red Jives possible, but BLACK EDITION 120HV can be upgraded as it shares the same hardware.

Actually there is no PROG Card III, only virtual one on PROG Disc and PROG Card 1 will not work anymore.
