Default GV-1 Bad Sensor

Anyone know if you can still have a bad sensor if the GV-1 amp is picking up a reading of 97% on the magnet as well as showing the number falling off as the magnet falls away? My GV-1 is not egaging (even after a reset), but the funny thing is the amp is showing that the sensor is reading the magnet as well as showing the unit engaging at the proper stick and switch positions while the machine is on the bench.

Trying to determine if I should send the amp back to Futaba for warranty or if my sensor could be bad.

try resetting your limits...low-idle-high (i think) this normally fixes all issues.

if not, go thru the programming setups one more time and verify everything is the same.

Hi,

Its awfull easy to accidently plug the throttle servo into the mix spot on the gv-1, the servo will still work but does'nt govern worth a darn for some reason

Just something else to check.

Only sensor I had go bad would work but was erradict, turned out to be a bad solder join on the sensor. Would measure 97% on the ground and the rpm was all over the place in the air. If you played with the wire the % would jump around....
