The Warp does not drive the tail from the main shaft by design - this is to minimize head energy loss in an autorotation. The drawback is that the tail will only weather vane in an auto.

if you have some forward speed the vaning should not be an issue

how much does your pack weigh, and where do you have it on the tray?

Dang, I got dizzy just watching. Some nice moves I haven't seen before either. What is even more impressive is that this was done indoors. No room, absolutely no room for error. And proof the heli does exactly what it is meant for.

And proof my flying skills need some severe help..........

The batteries are Chrome 6s 45c 1300mah. I do not have a scale here to weigh one. Maybe someone here has the same packs and can weigh one and report?

As to the pack location, the pack is still on the heli from that flight so here you go.

thank you,

i'm using gens ace packs, and to balance the heli, the pack is barely hanging on and the canopy won't fit.

i think 1800s would've been better.

although, the piros are pretty flat

The heli is still a little tail heavy like that but I don't really want to move the pack any further forward.

I got a short video of my warp at the OHB this past weekend thanks to my friend Courtney P. Sorry for the tunes overlay I lost the original audio This has been a fun little bird so far. My biggest like of this machine is the head. It feels fantastic and no dampers to baby sit (much better than the align DFC or protos plastic flexy grips).

Cool!
Smooth flying. Can you tell your headspeed?

Thanks guys.

The head-speed in the video was governed to 2800 RPM. Feels really good to me there I also have 2900 on IU2 but rarely use it (not much head room governor wise either). I am running the stock pinion but most power mongers will want minimum of 1 more tooth on the stock pinion/pulley, or turn the governor off and go 100% straight TC .
