No it won't work. The 510 is a mini servo and the Fusion takes full size servos like the ds610.

those will work fine. I have the 610's too running on 6V BEC. I have a logger and voltage never dips under 5.8V in flight. I have seen a number of those on the for sale forum here cheap usually, but if you buy used to keep costs down, make sure you buy nice ones .

FYI the Savox 1258 and the Align 610 are the exact same servos with differently branded. Check here:

Will be looking around for a second hand set of 3 for cyclic but someone who is willing to post to Australia.
Looks like im going to get rid of some stuff to help fund this kit

if you have a green-blue color thing going on for your heli, you can go with the Align. If you have like red-yellow-orange theme on the heli, you can pick the Savox

AFAIK the MKS ds1009 and ds1210 are the same inside, but with different gearing. The 1009 is slightly faster, but the 1210 has more torque. The 1009 is better for FB and the 1210 usually for FBL. But these are not very precise. Don't misunderstand, they are great quality, and depending on what your needs are, they might still work for you well. They have larger deadband, they do not center as well and they are working with slower frequency (120Hz vs the 200Hz for the Align 610). These are also slower than the Align 610. Of the 2 (same price, same size) I'd pick the MKS ds1210 for a FBL setup.

Folks who want to run MKS on a Fusion, usually use the BLS950 on the cyclic and the BLS980 on the tail. These cost almost 2x of the Align, but you get very high precision, they center perfectly and are much stronger than the Align, which counts a lot for FBL setup. I have been using the 980 as an oversized solution on the tail of my TREX 500, and it's extremely pleasing (but a bit more expensive).

If you want to fly 3D, I would suggest you go with the Align. If you're hardcore smackdown, you could pick the MKS BLS 950, but there are other $100+ solutions too like the JR DS8717 or 8719, or a set of Futaba. If you are just getting into it, you can certainly try the MKS DS1210, but you might just want to get the Align up front and save the headache of selling the 1210 or the 1009 and getting something better.

Im just starting to get into bigger helis, ive had a 300x and a 130x and do virtually no 3D mostly just speed run attempts :p

The fusion is mainly so that I have something bigger than a 450 to fly. Im trying to work out whether to run a 6s or a 10s setup.
Im slightly leaning towards the 10s because I can get a motor alot cheaper and already for some reason have 1 5s 3200mah pack

If you can afford it, might just want to get the Align/Savox up front and save the headache of selling the MSK DS1210 or the DS1009 in a few months and getting something better. The 610's will serve yo ufor a good while.

With 6s you will have really hard time to pull out of some sticky situation and it will make it harder to learn. Plus you will spend more on crash parts than just doing a 10S or 12S setup.
You can just do a setup that runs well either 10 or 12S, and then just depending on the batteries, your gevernor setup and the pinion you can switch back and forth. You will enjoy the Fusion on 12S, it's a really nice powerful machine.

Nope, the Talon is rated up to 6 cell. You will need a HV ESC like the CC Edge 80HV or the Edge 120HV to fly 10S or 12S. You can do your research online, at castlecreations.com or on other ESC pages.

That will be OK. My first motor was the 4025-550 but I only fly 12S. The slightly higher KV will work for both 10S and 12S.

If you use an ESC, use one that can supply at least 20AMPs peak. You don't want to save $20 and lose the heli in a bad crash due to a brownout. The Castle BEC Pro works great, make sure to read the HF posts how to set it up safely in a 12S environment from 6S, a lot of folks had issues when feeding it directly from 12S (although it's rated for that too).
