Question 14MZ TCAP questions?

I have a chance to get a 14mztcap with the 72 mhz module. It has all the accessories and I was wondering what it would be worth? Is it compatible with the 2.4 ghz module? Is there a module for Spektrum recievers? I know it is a Futaba but I remember that I read something about this. How hard is it to program? Sorry about all the questions but I have all spektrum stuff and really don't know alot about futaba.

Hmm, how about $100?.. My final offer

Seriously though, SB, yes you can get a 2.4 module for the TX.

I would strongly suggest you do not buy a Spek module for it. Given the expense of the radio, it would be wise to stick with the same brand module. I wouldn't even entertain the thought of a Spek module in my 14MZ to control my jets or high-end helis.

Hard to program?... not any harder than the 9C series radios. If I can do it... ANYBODY can

I reckon the radio would be worth about $1300 as a second hand radio.

The TM14 module costs about $180, I would recommend statying away from the spektrum module for the 14MZ, it does some pretty wierd stuff with latency (slows it down big time).

The 14MZ is one of the most intuitive radios that I have ever dealt with (Graupner MC16, MC24, Multiplex 4000, Spektrum DX7, and a JR 3810). The software is simply laid out and the screen makes it a joy to work on.

Keep it, sell your spektrum stuff and with that money get Futaba Rx's, the money left over can go to your mate
