Default ESC mounting

I've got the basic 425. Scorpion/Gaui GM504-1400KV with Castle Phoenix ICE-100
Been trying to figure out where and how to mount the ESC. This thing is
HUGE! Any ideas? Leave the plastic case on?
Any help w/pictures preferably would be greatly appreciated.
THX.

well, you can either mount it right next to the motor, so that the canopy covers it up, OR you can mount it right under the gears in the wide open space, either one works.

I've got the ICE100 mounted under my forward servos. It's a snug fit but works nicely, no overheating. You can see my pictures here: https://www.helifreak.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=42
