Default Charging & Balancing 2 Packs With V-balancer

ok so I PMed Bob how to charge & balance 2 FP 2170's with the V-Balancer and here is the answer that he gave me for you guys

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Please post this question in the forum so others can get help from the answer but.....

For the V-balancer it will do it JUST LIKE the TP 210 as shown in the picture i provided. You will need the 6S balance adapter plug that comes with the V-balancer and you will plug a pack in the small 4 pin and the 2nd pack in the large 6 pin but biased over towards the 4 pin plug. Again just like the pic for the TP 210.

As for charging I do NOT know that charger so unless it can charge 6S packs your out of luck. If it can you will need to make a Y cable which is also shown.

Bob"

Yes for reference this is the picture Tickidytoc uploaded showing how to do it on the TP 210 and it will also work the same way with the V-balancer

Also read this post.... It has a picture I showed with more details of the baklancer connection and Matt's Y connector. The V-balancer will work the same

I just got my four 3S 2170mAh packs set up, and have one on the TP1010/210 charging. Two things came to mind that weren't mentioned here.

On the balance tab, there's a ridge on each side for the plug. My TP-210 has a chunk of plastic I don't see in the close-up photo that block its insertion into the Group B slot. I trimmed a little of that side's ridge on the pack and now it plugs in fine.

I also was sure to use the Group A/B stickers that came with one of the two to label the balance leads so I'm sure to get them in the right side of the balancer. The ridge above probably prevents this as well, since I only trimmed the one that belongs in Group B.

Since the V-Balance doesn't have those marked, I'll probably put the stickers on them as well.
