I've been using the Lynx carbons on both my Blade helis (450X & 300X) for a while. They're pretty decent for my flying style and have the same paint scheme as Edge blades. I only wish Lynx would release some 275mm carbons for the 300 stretch. There's no way in hell I'm going to stretch it and then be locked into using plastic blades.

Has anyone tried the Microheli plastic main blades for the 300X? Can't seem to find any reviews for them.

A Hobby shop near me has just got some of the 245mm Revolution blades, I may need to go and get them.

I haven't flown them yet, but the mains are visually identical to lynx. I was expecting them to be slightly heavier due to the paint, but the set I have is actually a couple tenths lighter per blade. IMO the fancy paint job is not as impressive in person and I prefer the lynx. I imagine visibility will be worse too.

Default Revolution Mains For Me

After using Lynx 245 Plastics for a while I tried a pair of Revolution Blades. I have had a pair on my 450X for a while and it flies great with hands free hovers. Both pairs have been well balanced at the factory and the white ends make the disc easier to see. I was not disappointed when I put them on the 300X. It seems to be more alive then what it was, Its got more punch then the plastics and a slimmer profile. I seem to be ending a flight with more power left in my batteries with them.

I am just in the process of trying the Blade CF tail blades, I was using Lynx plastics with have been very good. Landing in a tree put a crack in one of them. I have bought another pair just incase I dont like the CF tail blades.

The Lynx plastic tails are brittle. If you hit anything with them they will crack.
However I do like them and still use them.
They are a tiny bit longer compared to stock, so you are able to run less tail gain on the BeastX.
The BeastX seems to perform better this way. (Piros)

Default +1 Revolutions

+1 on the Revolution blades. They handle my 450 motor easily and always come back for more. Lots of noise and lots of pop! Disc is much more visible

Default Tried Blade CF Tail Blades with Revo Mains

I couldnt sleep last night so I got the 300X out at the crack of dawn. I didnt really notice any difference in tail holding (though I dont do piros) I used the same gain as the Lynx Plastics (I couldnt be bothered to change anything - I just wanted to have a mad blast) To me its a tough call between the two but on price factor the Lynx are the better deal. I just wish HH would make some Revo tail blades for this bird. Both of my 450's have them.

Thanks, don't know how I missed that! Lynx plastics and Blade CF look like the options.

I put another 6 bats through mine this morning with the blade cf tails. I did not balance them - just put them on and flew. Its rock steady on the tail with very very little vibes (I can just see the lower antenna end moving). I am also getting longer flight times with the revo mains - I;m up to 6 mins now doing very fast ff, steep banked turns and pitch pumps and I still have over 3.75v per cell when I land - this heli has never flown so well.

Gaui X2 blades (Genuine or clones), went back to Lynx 245 plastics after I smashed the last carbon blades this weekend (x2 genuine) and they arent that bad...

Put in an order for Lynx extention and SAB 280mm blades, lets see how they will fly...
