Default Futaba 8FG goes to 14 Channels!!

Well you’ve been waiting for it, and here it is…How do you really upgrade an already hot 8-Channel radio? Well you make it a 14-channel radio, add support for Futaba’s CGY750 3-axis system of course, and you do it for FREE!

And that is just the tip of the iceberg, add in the ability to adjust the swash trim from the swash screen, VPP (variable pitch prop) support, stick calibration by the end user, a user customizable menu, the ability to assign any stick, switch or lever to any channel, turn the warning beeper on or off and much more.

The 8FG is now the ultimate 8-channel (ah…14-channel) radio.

Download the latest software from http://www.futabarc.com/downloads.html and put your 8FG over the top today!

The new 8FG Super (8FG with the new software) will be shipping soon for those that are in the market for a new system.

When we'll have the same improvements (swash trim from the swash screen, VPP (variable pitch prop) support, stick calibration by the end user, a user customizable menu) on T14MZ and FX-40 ??

Steve,
on 14MZ and FX-40 there is a hidden service menu that can be used to calibrate sticks, pots, dialers and switches...and other interesting things....why Futaba don't give the possibility to end users to use them (Aurora 9 and SD-10G and other brands give their users this possibility) ?

Apparently not. My 10C is on eBay right now to defray the cost of my recently purchased 8FG. It's unfortunate, but that's the nature of the beast. Can't expect everything for free....

I am, however, SUPER pumped to rock the 8FG. This is one heck of a radio - IMO, it's the best deal in RC transmitters to this day. Thanks to Futaba for making such a solid product!

I bought mine the first 2 months it was on the market and it is now the V3 ..
this is one of the first versions available. so I say pull the trigger now and enjoy the best and only radio you'll ever need.

the 701 will run on s bus and your standard servos plug into the 701. Your
throttle, rudder, gov gain and gyro gain will be transfered to the 701 via s bus
and the 701 will decode and run regular servos that are plugged into it. With
this setup plus you still have the 8 channels to use on the rx for ccpm
, switch glow ect
