I purchased it from Homefly, but sadly, it is no longer available.
The story is it was handmade in Germany, and quite pricey ($20 per meter), but it was very well made, and did not split like pultruded tubes. I had not been able to find any other woven CF tube smaller than 7mm, before I was told about Homefly.
I don't know where it could be found now?

Repurposed cat5. Works great and a patch cord has more than enough for a fleet of mcpx's. Hell I must have 20 of those cords around the house. Time to find other good uses for them

HI... I did a search. Cat5 wires seem to come from Ethernet cables if I'm not wrong. Would i be able to use those? Thanks.

Nice bird. In case you lost a screw on the rear peg, it should be M1x2mm Phillips Head Screw.

Andy Nguyen,
Good eye... I left that out actually. It fits snug enough without the fastener. And in the event of a mishap (crash)....I thought the landing gear might be better to be able to separate from the frame. Surprised no one noticed the fastener missing on the hub! The hub actually fits very loose (waiting for a replacement from the manufacturer) so I just threw that head on for some quick pictures.

Works good. I also use it on my laser builds. I guess you could also use RJ11 phone cord but more often than not that would be solid copper instead of braid like the cat5 has.
