Now I know that many of you will think that I am crazy suggesting this so early, but, you know how long it took to sort the 2009 event out!!!!!!!!!!

What are everyone's ideas about the location and timings for next years "do"?

In view of the light and temperature/weather, I reckon we should be looking no earlier than late April/May, with potential for a second event around Sept. Somewhere in the central Midlands would again be preferable.

If we can get close to fixing a date, then maybe Erwin, Raf, Mika, etc. might be able to organise a visit.

Thoughts guys.........................

Late April early May sounds good Skip. The last three years we've had some cracking weather around that time

Skip...sounds good to me. It's a busy holiday time with Easter and the Bank Holidays to negotiate, so early planning is vital.

I usually busy myself during Easter break tidying garden after winter and other jobs around the house once the light nights return.

So I would prefer an early May date if that's cool with everyone else (otherwise my garden will have to wait). It's also my b.day on the 11th so I shouldn't have a problem getting a pass out for that weekend.

1st/2nd May
8th/9th May
15/16th??????????????????

Hi Guy's

I should be able to make it if the date is set, I prefer the Midland Heli club because I've found a very good B&B in Pinwall

If it's alright, I might have to get some details off you there Erwin, and join you. I think at that time of year it might be a little too cold for camping overnight, especially for an owd un like me.

Other than that, provisionally the date seems fine to me, and I am already looking forward to it.

Cheers

Sut

No way Raf - I think that's 3 of us on here with the same b.day!!
Can't remember who the other was though, or I could be getting confused with Jonny and Jack. No doubt, the belgian beer baron maybe pusuaded to bring another crate or two along...

It's early enough to play with some more dates isn't it? Is anyone really organised and has got a calendar/diary for 2010 that shows when Easter/Bank Holidays are? Annoyingly, it does not show it on my PC!!

We could make it 15/16th then, or Bank holiday at end of may so it's a bit warmer for Sutty Hope that's not too late though, and we can still have another FF later in year.

I'll deffo be staying over at the FFF 2010... didn't get a drop of Belgium beer last time and I love the stuff. Used to have a girlfriend who lived in Brussels. Best bit about going to see her was eating waffles, muscles then spending the evening visiting the taverns downing my favorite tipple over there- beer blonde.

Oh yeah, another favorite but was getting back to her place

Well, you gotta make your trip worthwhile!

We always have a large supply of beer at home, remember we're from Belgium, you can never have enough beer (or was that heli's ? ).

Enough talk of beefy women.....we still haven't fixed a date!!!

There's been talk of the FFF on other threads so thought I'd bump this up the list to remind me.

I'll get a 2010 diary and find out when the public holidays are around that time, and then we can all make a well informed decision.
