Default The E-flite 1S 150mAh 45C LiPo packs rock!

Guys, every so often I see people posting questions about batteries (whats the best battery?) and I wanted to provide some feedback. My 100% stock Nano CP X gets a ton of flight time in the winter and I really enjoy flying it. My only complaint has been its lack of pop and crispness on hard collective movements.

A few days ago I noticed that the stock batteries were 150mah 25C units and that they had a similar 45C unit available. I purchased six of the 45C units and what an amazing difference! I highly suggest the 45C battery for anyone who wants to do anything even semi-aggressive as it feels like it has a TON more power. I still fly the book suggested 3:40 and it stays reasonably strong through the entire flight.

I bought 4 new 45C packs as well and still haven't had a chance to try them out yet. Sound like they're great. Looking forward to trying them out soon!

The Oversky 200mAh is a better battery for the nano at about the same price. Never had much faith in Blade's batteries.

I've been using good old nanotechs forever, but recently tried the Pulse 160mAh 30C packs, these seem to have significantly extra grunt and fly solid for the full 4mins.

I will try the 45c next, anyone with the 45's also have the Pulse?

All of my nano techs ended up dying fairly quickly but they were better than the stock batteries. I went with a set of 160 - 30c pulse batteries as well and I can say that they are night and day for performance in comparison to stock batteries. They were a good purchase.

Try one of the 45c batteries. I think you'll change your mind.

I have a whole pile of stock E-Flite 25c batteries. They've done nothing but sit because they suck. The NT 160's make them look kinda stupid. The miniaviation 190's are excellent as well. The 45c E-Flites are pretty great.

Heat them up to around 96 or 98°F. It totally changes everything. I have both the e-flite 45c and the oversky 200mah and after some heat, the e-flite still has the edge.
