Tail motor fail after 10 flights

Hi all,

So I purchased a new ncpx on Sunday and have been having a blast. I've only crashed it a few times outdoors. Yesterday I had a problem with the tail motor quitting after turning the the tail rotor in one direction randomly. It would go into a tail spin and crash. It turns out that the commutator has a dead spot already. I've ordered a new 7mm tail boom and motor from xtreme. I have a walkera mini cp that has been a faithful trooper with well over 100 flights and have only had to do things like new canopy and skids. All of my flights are just turns left and right in circles. I'm very new so I haven't attempted any 3d or inverted yet. I have orientation down ok and can do single piros in left and right. Am I going to be running into quality problems from blade or are most of the stuff you see online isolated incidents, was mine an isolated incident? Should I bother with a warranty claim?
