Odin 90 electric conversion

I am going to convert my Odin 90 to nuclear power.

could you please share your setups (motor, kv, pinion, lipos, rpm) ?

I think 1400-1800 rpm could be a could target for me (medium rpm 3d flight)

I have done a few electric conversions but I am not familiar with the Odin. I did have a quick look for the gear ratio and it appears the stock gearing is 8 to 1. It looks like the main gear is pretty big though, so perhaps the ratio could be changed to something a bit longer, more like 10 to 1 and then you'd have more motor choices.

I am converting a Robbe Millenium 2 right now and it has a 120 tooth main gear. I'm using a 12 tooth pinion and an Align 700MX/450 motor. That should give me a range of about 1700 ish in the sweet spot for the Jive and I could go about 1800 at the high end and probably around 1400-1500 if I run down around 50% throttle on the Jive in mode 4.

I'm also converting it to FBL.

Basically, it depends on what sort of performance you want, what kind of flight times. If it's FBL you can generally run lower headspeeds and extend the flight times and / or run smaller packs.

I assume you want to run it on 12s ?
