i have a t-rex 700e V3 dfc with the stock 750MX 530KV motor in it. it has the stock 12t pinion, and 112t main gear. i also have the scorpion 4035 560KV motor for it as well. my question is that when i put the scorpion motor in it, would i have to change gearing, or will i be okay with the same gearing for both motors? thanks in advance!

I believe the set up have with the 530 will give you around 2400 rpms.. the 560 would bump that to about 2600. Are you running governor mode?

OK...well, those headspeeds give you some headroom depending on what your desired set rpm is. I run the Scorp 560kv as well.. but I run a different gearing then yours...I shoot for around 2400, and govern it to 1850, 1950, and 2050. I'm sure the DFC likes more speed, I'm not sure of the preferred head speed for the DFC.
