Ron, thanks, and I agree about the practicality of a perfect 90 degree setup. My post above was intended to be more academic than practical in nature.

And thanks for the setup procedure. I will try this next time around.

Great post ROn - I totally agree it's unnecessary to get too carried away with geomtery to get a well set up heli - can be an interesting mental exercise though and give some insights into rotor head design. I like your practical advice to setup and do a very similar procedure myself.

According to futaba (called them) adjusting max limit in end points adjustment menu is perfectly fine and will not change gyro gain in any way.

Great videos - thanks!

NO haven't done one - the principles similar to the cyclic gyro and already covered in the 701 vids but I'm happy to do one if people wish - not much to do really - set directions and play with gain - the integration with the FBL is very good and not really worth tweaking the advanced IMHO

You may now use the PWM to S-Bus adapter and use your Fasst R617FS receiver and servos.

Thanks Ben ! Principles are similar but instead of using the 8FG dedicated ail/ele gain channels you have to pick a couple of unused channels on the 10C and set the 750 to recognise them as gain channels, id start using 2 of the rotary control channels intended for hover fine tuning, Ch 9/10 from memory.

Are you planning on doing any updated setup videos addressing the updates and tweaking?

Probably not, the updating is pretty straightforward and there is much better expert advice in the 750'forum on tweaking than I could provide!

Mercuriell, I bought my 750 second hand and don't have a pad. Which double sided tape can you recommend?

3m double sided tape works great, can get it at any autoparts store.

I agree - I like the grey thin 3M stuff - I think thinner the better as long as you have a reasonably low vibe heli
