Default Gt5 and sbus

I have an sbus receiver plugged into imp1. I've got a green light on my receiver.

I'm not having any luck setting up my new e360 Titan.

It doesn't ever seem like the throttle endpoints set . Do I need to enter setup and switch to sbus receiver. I'm able to get into the setup, but the double tap doesn't work.

Do I plug directly from esc to the gt5?

Do I reverse channel 3 in my futaba remote?

I'm using sbus as well and wasn't able to get throttle working either. For now I just plugged the esc into a channel on my RX, so from ESC to RX, RX to IMP1. It actually made for a clean install on mine. I don't think that the gt5 has any type of governor function so I didn't troubleshoot it at all. I think that the throttle port is only used if you are using the SAT ports.

Thanks. Im going to try that. Are you using throttle normal or reversed in your futaba transmitter?

ok. I have motor function. Im not getting any servo movement. They move if I move the heli around. Is there a manual mode I need to get into, but do not mirror my stick movements.

I also determined the throttle needs to be reversed in the remote.

It's now working, but I had to unplug the sbus and have everything wired between the two.

What gain are you running for gyro tail?

Thanks. I think the biggest thing I need to figure out is how to get my sbus working with my gt5. The manual states I might need to change receiver type. Mine is showing std receiver. Is that the right setting?

No, it should show sbus. Mine didn't auto detect sbus so I had to set it manually.

Is it easy to explain how to do this?

Im ready to pitch it and go with a 3gx or Ikon. It came on a TT e360 I bought.

I think I found my problem. There is a double tap feature, and mine isn't working very well. I have to tap it repeatedly and wait until it works. I was able to get into the menu and set this to work with my sbus.

Glad to hear you got it working. Mine is the same. Hard to get the double click to work.

Same here on the double-tap. I find that you have to perform the double-tap very fast (almost unnaturally fast) for it to register. I was convinced mine was defective until I figured that out. It would be nice if they would allow you to adjust the double-tap sensitivity.

Default Gt5 and sbus

So did you get this solved? I set up a GT5 with SBus yesterday & have full throttle control etc & it's working properly. Let me know if you need a hand.
