HK500CMT tail blade grips assembly order?
So in my process of taking everything apart and putting on locktite and grease I seem to have gotten confused about which order the parts for the tail blade grips go on. If someone who has one could help it would be appreciated as this is a slightly different design from the Align and when I put it together the way I think it was it doesn't move smoothly. I'll describe the best I can.
The control link attaches to the blade grip with a screw, bearing, and washer. The washer can only slide into one side of the control link. What order do these pieces go together? I think originally the screw went into the bearing and then the washer went on. But which way does it go into the control link? If i put it in with the screw head on the same side that the bearing goes into the control link it seems to bind up because the washer is not thick enough. But if I flip it all around technically nothing is holding the blade grip to the control link. |
