October hey?! Time to sell my 450pro. .(was anyway) I think this warp will be the only small heli I'll own!
I just hope it holds up well in a crash like every other compass does. Or is at least cheap to repair. Not sure how the carbon blade grips will hold up? Sent from Android via Trap a talk 2 |

Black blades, black tiny tail fin, black skids, no horizontal fin, ugly hobbyking looking canopy, are they trying to make this heli hard to see?? I hate black blades, do others make white blades In this 360 size?

From nankinhobby.com: "The Warp 360 will fly on batteries ranging from 3s to 6s LiPo. The recommended power setup is a 6s LiPo in the 1000-1300MAh range. The kit with a motor and blades will come with a 6s motor from Compass Model along with 350mm** carbon fiber rotor blades." Seems like the stock motor and blades combo will be pretty stout. Stock Compass motors always look pretty potent in their kits, and from the vids I saw, this one is no slouch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

i paint the tips of the blades on my 450X white so i can see them. I also use white tail blades, it helps a lot. I'll be doing the same on this.
sab and edge both make 360ish blades. I'll stick with compass if they fly good.

Compass blades all have white tips so far.
Maybe the production Warp will be the same.

Where did you find a Thunder Power 1300 6s? Mind sharing a link please? Was looking on their website but couldn't find one above 4s.

Really Hobbyking look? Black Blades? the words Hobbyking and Compass should not even be in the same dictionary. The support you get from Compass and Mike at Nankin is a far cry from what hobbyking will give you. This heli is setting a standard that hobbyking nor Align or anyone else for that matter will own up to at a price almost anyone can afford. If you dont like the blades swing another brand or paint your tips. Compass blades are the best I have ever flown BUT if you have never held this heli or seen it fly in person please keep the hobbyking remarks to yourself.

A mail from rigidheli:
Dear customer, The time has almost come, the Warp 360 is in production! As it looks now, the kits will be delivered early October 2012. The kit is available in two types, Warp 360 with motor and 360 blades. Warp 360 without engine and blades. !!!!!I can't wait more!!!! |

I love the idea of this Heli and may well buy it, I think the stock canopy shown looks pretty damn ugly and remeniciant of ugly hobbyking canopy's. Glad other blades are available in 360 size, I'm sure a Fusuno order will fix the ugly canopy and get a bright tail so it's at least visible. I hate companies that put out all black heli's it's just begging for loss of orientation and more crashes. 450's are hard enough to see without companies going out of their way to make them near on invisible 50 feet out on a tree line. |
