Default Oh no! White smoke!

I have a mild bl, built by Dylan, I bought off the forum last year. Today I went out plugged in the battery, and white smoke came from under the canopy. When I unplugged the battery it was hot and the connector came off. The esc doesn't make any sounds but the tail motor still turns on. Did the esc burn up or just a connection?

Hopefully your battery wires where they solder to the connector shorted causing the connector to de-solder itself. I would pitch that battery. Check the ESC for visible signs of damage along with all the associated wiring. If nothing looks damaged, solder on a new connnector, cross your fingers and plug in another battery.

Middle two fets are scorched on the esc. I don't have the tools or skills to solder on something this small. Does megasmicros do work on these.

It would be cheaper just replacing the ESC yourself.
