I am beyond happy with my mini titan and gt5. Finally am getting it tuned. Just got to fine tune the tail settings a little more. All in all I absolutely love this gyro. Wery very stable in hover and it flips and rolls so fast. Like I said before your tail has to be perfectly put together with nothing loose. Fixed all my issues

I have the same heli and gt5 gyro. I was planning on ordering savox servos for cyclic but I don't want to have to use a separate BEC. Which ESC are you using? I am going to use the stock Ace one that came with the kit, do u think it will need a BEC with savox servos?

Is your gyro gain icon in the black background? if not, it will make a difference. paul.

cyclic seems to be ok now from what i can test on it since my tail keeps kicking. is there some way to ajust the gain of the tail?? or is it all done with the P and I thing cause on my 8fg it the same wether im at 0% or 100% nothings changeing. pleas help thanks
It could be a mechanical issue in the tail, a tail servo or the gyro.

What kind of servo are you running on the tail?
I'd unhook the rudder push rod loose from the rudder servo and move the rod back and forth to make sure there is no binding anywhere. You can still have binding under load that doesn't show up here however. If there is none you might try a Futaba S9257 on rudder if it will fit. I've had very extremely good luck with that servo.

Make sure your belt is not slipping.

You 'll need a BEC but that's not going to solve the tail issue I don't think.

I recommend finding the stock settings for the GT 5 in the Mini Titan manual and start with that. The P and I gains may be a tad soft but not much. As well set everything else back to the default settings, everything.
If its not at least flyable then there is a problem with the servo or tail mechanism. When you start adjusting a lot of different stuff things can get crazy.
